U.S. Secretary of State Rubio said on November 30th local time that the U.S.-Ukraine talks were “constructive,” but “there is still much work to be done.”

The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Rubio also said that a peace agreement is not only about ending the war, but also about how to achieve long-term prosperity for Ukraine.
Danilov expressed Ukraine’s gratitude for U.S. support at the press conference, but did not disclose whether any progress had been made in the talks.
U.S. President Trump, speaking to reporters on Air Force One that day, said that the delegation had briefed him on the U.S.-Ukraine talks, and he believed there was a “good chance of reaching a peace agreement.” Trump also said that corruption in Ukraine was “not conducive to peace negotiations.”
