The idea of the work

U.S. Secretary of State Rubio said on November 30th local time that the U.S.-Ukraine talks were “constructive,” but “there is still much work to be done.”
The U.S. and Ukrainian delegations held approximately four hours of talks in Florida that day. The U.S. delegation included Secretary of State Rubio, Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs Witkoff, and President Trump’s son-in-law Kushner. The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
At a press conference after the talks, Rubio said the talks were “constructive,” but that “there is still much work to be done” before a peace agreement is reached. Rubio also said that a peace agreement is not only about ending the war, but also about how to achieve long-term prosperity for Ukraine.
Danilov expressed Ukraine’s gratitude for U.S. support at the press conference, but did not disclose whether any progress had been made in the talks.
U.S. President Trump, speaking to reporters on Air Force One that day, said that the delegation had briefed him on the U.S.-Ukraine talks, and he believed there was a “good chance of reaching a peace agreement.” Trump also said that corruption in Ukraine was “not conducive to peace negotiations.”
