US President Donald Trump arrived at the Israeli parliament in Jerusalem and told reporters that the Gaza war is now “officially over.”
According to reports, when a reporter asked, “Is the war now ‘officially over’?” Trump replied, “Yes.”
As previously reported, on September 29, Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House and announced that Israel accepted the “20-point plan” aimed at ending the Gaza conflict.
On October 6, Israel and Hamas began a new round of indirect negotiations on a Gaza ceasefire in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
