According to Reuters, the White House stated on the 10th local time that the US government has begun large-scale layoffs.
The report stated that the White House indicated that the Treasury Department, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education, and the Department of Commerce are among the departments conducting layoffs, but the total number of layoffs is currently unclear.
Due to the Trump administration’s layoffs, 300,000 people have already left the US federal government by 2025.
