According to foreign media outlets such as Fox News, on October 28th, local time, during U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s opening statement at a hearing of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, a man in the audience held up a sign that read “Stop interfering in Venezuela” and shouted “War crimes,” before being arrested.
According to reports, as Rubio began his opening statement on U.S. policy towards Venezuela, a man in the audience stood up and shouted, “This is a war crime! Stop interfering in Venezuela! Stop interfering in Cuba!” He was also holding a sign that read “Stop interfering in Venezuela.” The man was then escorted out of the hearing room.
