Trump’s threats

According to a report by ABC on the 8th, U.S. President Trump threatened that any new Iranian leader who does not receive his approval “will not last very long.”
According to the report, Trump stated that any new leader appointed by Iran “must receive our approval,” or else “their tenure will be difficult to sustain.”
Trump further remarked that he would consider accepting an individual with ties to Iran’s “old regime” to serve as the country’s new leader, noting that “there are many people who could potentially fit the bill.”
Furthermore, Trump indicated that he has not ruled out the possibility of deploying special forces to seize Iran’s enriched uranium, stating that “all options are on the table.”
