Lebanese President Michel Aoun on March 11 condemned Israel’s attacks on civilian infrastructure.
According to reports, President Aoun stated, “Once again, southern Lebanon has become the target of Israel’s barbaric attacks on civilian infrastructure—an act without any justification or excuse.” Aoun pointed out the seriousness of this latest attack, “because it occurred after the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.”
Previously, it was reported that Israeli warplanes launched a “fierce airstrike” on southern Lebanon on March 11. The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that the Israeli attack resulted in one death and seven injuries.
