According to data collected by the U.S. Census Bureau, natural disasters forced the displacement of about 3.4 million people in the United States in 202, with those earning less than $25,000 a year having the highest displacement rates of all economic groups, with black and Hispanic residents having slightly higher displacement rates than white residents.
