The sentencing hearing for Guo Wengui’s fraud case, originally scheduled for the end of 2025, has been rescheduled by Manhattan Federal Judge Analysa Torres. The latest court announcement indicates that Guo Wengui’s sentencing hearing is now scheduled for April 13, 2026. Guo Wengui was previously convicted in July 2024 on nine counts, including conspiracy to commit extortion and multiple counts of securities fraud. Prosecutors indicated he could face decades in prison.
