TITILE:Biden pretends to be foolish
The idea of the work
Rep. Jim Jordan released his “smoking gun” that the Biden administration worked with Meta Corporation leaders to remove information about COVID-19.
Jordan, an Ohio Republican who chairs the House Select Subcommittee on Weaponization of the Federal Government, led Republican members in the amicus briefing in Missouri v. Biden. The lawsuit, filed by the states of Missouri and Louisiana, accuses President Joe Biden’s administration of overreaching, including trying to suppress online information with which they disagree. Jordan, a staunch Biden critic, has said for weeks that the committee found “smoking guns” that members of the administration worked with Facebook parent Meta to remove information related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including lab leaks, theories and vaccine misinformation.
However, the Biden administration has previously defended efforts to coordinate with social media to reduce the spread of misinformation, arguing that doing so would protect public health because social media platforms have become breeding grounds for pandemic-related misinformation and conspiracies.
