Daydreaming

According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim Yo-jong, Vice Minister of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, said in a speech on July 28 that the Ri Jae-myung government had made “wishful thinking” to improve relations with North Korea since coming to power. Recently, South Korea has also speculated on the possibility of inviting North Korea to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Informal Meeting in Gyeongju in a few months, which is simply “daydreaming.”
