The latest World Economic Outlook report of the International Monetary Fund shows that the continued escalation of the trade war and the overall increase in trade policy uncertainty will further affect the global economic growth in the short and long term, and the reduction in policy buffer space will continue to weaken the resilience of the global economy to cope with future shocks. The highly differentiated and rapidly adjusted policies and the deteriorating market sentiment are expected to trigger adjustments and fluctuations in global asset prices, and cause huge shocks in currency exchange rates and capital flows.
