In the early morning of the 18th local time, the Israeli army launched fierce air strikes on Gaza City in the north of the Gaza Strip, Deir al-Balah in the middle, Nusayret refugee camp, and Khan Yunis and Rafah in the south.
According to Qatar’s Al Jazeera, citing the Gaza Strip Health Department, the air strikes have killed 109 people, including 75 in Khan Yunis alone.
The Israeli Defense Forces issued a statement on the 18th saying that the Israeli army launched a large-scale air strike on the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) targets in the Gaza Strip that day. The statement did not release more information.
