The Public Relations Department of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement announcing that an advanced air defense system deployed by the IRGC successfully shot down a second advanced U.S. F-35 fighter jet within the airspace of central Iran. The aircraft, manufactured by Lockheed Martin, has been completely destroyed and has crashed.
