The idea of the work
The anti-war message targeting President Joe Biden and his re-election campaign will resurface in the upcoming Wisconsin Democratic primary. Wisconsin and the Uncommitted Nationals movement are using a $250,000 budget to push “uncommitted” votes in the state’s April 2 primary, which includes Biden, Rep. Dean Phillips (who has since dropped out as a presidential candidate and Support Biden), “Delegation without Instruction” or write name. The efforts, aimed at signaling dissatisfaction with the Biden administration’s accusations that Israeli soldiers are committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, mimicked what was happening in Michigan’s Democratic primary on February 27. More than 100,000 Michigan primary voters turned out in support of the No Commitment protests, particularly in Dearborn, home to the highest concentration of Arab Americans in the country.
