The idea of the work
May 25, local time, marks the fourth anniversary of the death of George Floyd, an African-American man.
On this day four years ago, when Floyd was arrested in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a white police officer knelt on his neck for nine and a half minutes, during which he shouted “I can’t breathe” 27 times. Death.
On the occasion of this year’s “May 25” anniversary, Floyd’s family once again called on the U.S. Congress to pass the “George Floyd Justice in Policing Act” named after him.
