Thousands of women took part in a sit-in Monday at the Colorado State Capitol, calling on Gov. Jared Polis to sign an executive order banning guns and implement a system to buy guns back. Organizers say about 2,000 people were among the first to gather. They also specifically called on white women to participate in the demonstration.
